Cylinder barrel is the main component of the hydraulic cylinder, which is associated with the cylinder head, piston and other parts form a closed chamber that pushes the piston to move.
The piston is the component attached to the rod, which bears the force of the hydraulic fluid, allowing it to extend or retract. There are also machined several grooves for the piston to allow seals to fit around it and maintain hydraulic pressure inside the barrel. The piston transfers its power to the piston rod and is attached by threads, bolts, or nuts.
The piston rod is attached to the piston and extends from the cylinder through the head, which the material is usuall a hard chrome-plated piece of cold-rolled steel. The piston rod connects the hydraulic cylinder to the machine component doing the work, such as a forklift or dump body. The mounting attachment attaches directly to the piston rod.
The cylinder head is installed at both ends of the hydraulic cylinder to form a tight oil chamber with the cylinder
Piston seal is installed on the piston of the cylinder to prevent liquid leakage through the gap between the piston and the cylinder
